Day 1: Paro to Thimphu
Embark on an awe-inspiring journey with your flight into Paro, offering panoramic views of the world’s towering peaks. Upon arrival, you’ll journey to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. After hotel check-in, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a testament to Buddhism through its exquisite paintings and statues, initiated by the Third King to safeguard against the tides of modernization and honor peace. Explore Tashichho Dzong, a fortress embodying Bhutan’s spiritual and governmental heart, with its architecture seamlessly blending tradition and history. Day 2: Explore Thimphu
After breakfast, marvel at the world’s tallest sitting Buddha at Buddha Point, its golden visage catching the dawn light. Embark on a scenic hike from Buddha Point to Changangkha Lhakhang, treading paths once frequented by royalty, now offering serene forest trails and captivating views of Thimphu. Day 3: Thimphu to Phobjikha Valley

Visit Gangtey Goempa, perched atop a hill with sweeping views of Phobjikha Valley, and immerse yourself in the history and spiritual essence of the site. Day 4: Phobjikha to Punakha Valley
Start with a Nature Trail hike through Phobjikha Valley’s enchanting landscapes, then journey to Punakha Valley. Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, marvel at its historical and architectural grandeur, and take a leisurely walk to Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 5: Punakha Exploration
Drive to Yabesa village and hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal Chorten for panoramic views. Discover Wangduephodrang Dzong’s strategic significance and Chimi Lhakhang, dedicated to the Divine Madman, Drukpa Kuenly. Overnight in Punakha/Wangduephodrang.
Day 6: Return to Paro
Return to Thimphu for last-minute shopping, then proceed to Paro, visiting Semtokha Dzong on the way. Overnight in Paro, preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Day 7: Paro – Taktsang Monastery
Trek to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff, offering spiritual solace and breathtaking views. Visit the historic ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, encapsulating the essence of Bhutanese spirituality.
