Day 1: Paro to Thimphu

After hotel check-in, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a testament to Buddhism through its exquisite paintings and statues, initiated by the Third King to safeguard against the tides of modernization and honor peace. Day 2: Explore Thimphu
After breakfast, marvel at the world’s tallest sitting Buddha at Buddha Point, its golden visage catching the dawn light. Embark on a scenic hike from Buddha Point to Changangkha Lhakhang, treading paths once frequented by royalty, now offering serene forest trails and captivating views of Thimphu. Day 3: Thimphu to Phobjikha Valley

Day 4: Phobjikha to Punakha Valley

Day 5: Punakha Exploration
Drive to Yabesa village and hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal Chorten for panoramic views. Discover Wangduephodrang Dzong’s strategic significance and Chimi Lhakhang, dedicated to the Divine Madman, Drukpa Kuenly. Overnight in Punakha/Wangduephodrang.

Day 6: Return to Paro
Return to Thimphu for last-minute shopping, then proceed to Paro, visiting Semtokha Dzong on the way. Overnight in Paro, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 7: Paro – Taktsang Monastery
Trek to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff, offering spiritual solace and breathtaking views.
